Acerca de
Mechanical Engineer from the National University of Colombia, MBA from the EADA Business School in Barcelona, and Master's Degree with Cum Laude honors in Strategic Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. His career of over 15 years includes various leadership positions in the field of quality in both the public and private sectors, as well as experience in strengthening quality infrastructure in Latin America.
Since 2018, he has been part of the regional team of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), attached to the office for Colombia and the Andean Region, where he has led cooperation programs, including Phases I and II of the country project under the Global Quality and Standards Programme (GQSP Colombia), implemented by the Organization in 12 countries worldwide.
He is a member of the Advisory Council of the National Metrology Institute of Colombia, a national and international speaker, and has contributed to numerous publications on quality infrastructure. His current work focuses on strengthening quality infrastructure at the governance and institutional levels, as well as on enhancing national quality capacities with a focus on value chains.
In addition to his work in Colombia, he has supported specific initiatives of UNIDO's Competitiveness, Quality, and Compliance Unit globally and locally in countries of Latin America.
